I'm an irreverent, snarky, sarcastic woman with heavy OCD tendencies. Etiquette be damned, I will say what I think without filtering it. Generally loving and caring, I do have a black-white personality so if you piss me off, expect to hear about it and be hated forever more. Or at least for a long time.
I've been told I have high standards and that I strive to too perfect of goals. That being said, I believe in a home birth, non-vac, non-circ, extended breastfed, attachment parent, home-school way of life.
I sew home goods rather than buy them; I garden and preserve; I bulk shop and freeze, including a modified Once-A-Month-Cooking plan. I love all kinds of crafts especially those dealing with paper.
You can talk to me about make up, hair styles, fashion and trends but my eyes may glaze over and my mind might wander. I'm not focused on looks, wear what feels good rather than what looks good, and never follow a trend.
I am both a hard right conservative and a hard left liberal. I don't like to discuss politics and religion because of this... and the aforementioned "don't piss me off" suggestion.
I am an avid reader of thrillers, crime novels, historical fiction and pandemic books. I do not read chick-lit or romance novels as a rule.
Currently residing in the Midwest, my heart belongs in Southern California where I spent nearly 2 decades.
